Retired License Status
The retired license status became available for LPNs beginning November 1, 2005 and for RNs beginning November 1, 2006. There is a one-time application processing fee of $25. A license card indicating a “retired” status is issued but is not subject to renewal. Consequently, there is no expiration date associated with the “Retired” license card.
You are not eligible for retired status if you have current or pending action on your license in Kentucky or any other state.
